![]() The Health Fair provides health screenings, music, entertainment, food, refreshments, a kids’ zone and valuable mental health information available to our community. Information will be provided on a variety of topics, including mental health care, public health, family support, substance abuse and recovery programs, among many others. The Health Fair provides an opportunity for the community to learn about us and the mental health services and programs available to help children, youth, adolescents, adults and older adults in Riverside County. All gift cards, food, in-kind donations and other contributions will be used to help educate and inform the community about mental health resources in Riverside County. We can fight the stigma of mental illness and continue to create a message of hope and recovery with your support. We are asking you to participate in this event by making a charitable contribution, providing an in-kind gift or supplying some of the necessities that help make this event a success. They receive round-the-clock psychiatric care, including psychiatric evaluation and psychiatric stabilization for youth experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. Treatment in the CATS unit averages about four days. There is nothing in the room that a patient could use to harm themselves. The rooms in this 12-bedroom unit are very bare.
